Isocyanate‑functional silane coupling agent series
Isocyanate‑functional silane coupling agent contains highly reactive isocyanate groups and hydrolyzable alkoxy groups, which can chemically react with hydroxyl, amino and other functional groups. It modifies surfaces of inorganic fillers and glass fibers, greatly improving interfacial adhesion between fillers and polyurethane, epoxy, phenolic resins. It enhances mechanical strength, hot‑humid resistance and hydrolysis resistance of composites, featuring high reactivity for high‑performance composite systems.
- 1. Glass fiber treatment: Surface modification for glass and mineral fibers for PU and epoxy composites.
- 2. Powder modification: Activation of hydroxyl‑containing inorganic fillers such as aluminum hydroxide
- silica and kaolin.
- 3. Polyurethane materials: PU composites and cast polyurethane
- improve filler compatibility and product strength.
- 4. Adhesives & sealants: Boost bonding strength on glass
- metal and ceramic substrates.
- 5. Electronic composite materials
- improve hydrolysis resistance
- insulation and hot‑humid aging performance.
