3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane

3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane is a high-performance reactive silane coupling agent, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It contains both isocyanate group and hydrolyzable trimethoxy group. The isocyanate group can rapidly react with resins containing active hydrogen such as hydroxyl and amino groups. After hydrolysis, methoxy groups can form chemical bonds with inorganic substrates, greatly improving bonding strength, water resistance and weather resistance between dissimilar materials, suitable for polyurethane, silicone, epoxy and other systems.
