3-Isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane

3-Isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane (KH-907) is a highly reactive silane coupling agent, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It contains reactive isocyanate groups and hydrolyzable triethoxy groups. The isocyanate groups can rapidly react with polymers bearing active hydrogen such as hydroxyl and amino groups. After hydrolysis, ethoxy groups can form chemical bonds with glass, metal and inorganic fillers, significantly improving interfacial bonding strength, water resistance and aging resistance. It is widely used in polyurethane, silicone, epoxy and other systems.
