Ethyl silicate 40
Ethyl silicate 40 is a prepolymer of tetraethoxysilane, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with theoretical silica content of about 40%. It can form dense silica film after hydrolysis and curing. Compared with monomer TEOS, it has better film-forming property and lower shrinkage, widely used in anti-corrosion coatings and precision casting industries.
