2-(3, 4-epoxy-cyclohexyl) ethyltriethoxysilane

2-(3, 4-epoxy-cyclohexyl) ethyltriethoxysilane

2-(3,4-Epoxycyclohexyl)ethyltriethoxysilane (KH-1770, CAS:10217-34-2) is an alicyclic epoxy triethoxysilane coupling agent, colorless transparent liquid. With alicyclic epoxy structure, it features excellent heat resistance, low yellowing and outstanding aging resistance. Ethoxy groups hydrolyze more gently than methoxy groups with superior storage stability, and ethanol is the hydrolysis byproduct. Silanol groups can form stable chemical bonds with glass, metal and inorganic powders, while alicyclic epoxy groups can crosslink with epoxy, acrylic and phenolic resins via thermal or cationic curing. It improves high-temperature resistance, hydrothermal stability, insulation and bonding durability, suitable for formulations requiring good hydrolysis stability and low yellowing.
