Vinyltris (2-methoxyethoxy) silane
Vinyltris(2-methoxyethoxy)silane (A-172 / KH-172, CAS:1067-53-4) is a vinyl silane coupling agent, colorless transparent liquid. With unique β-methoxyethoxy structure, it features good water compatibility, mild hydrolysis and excellent storage stability. It contains free-radical polymerizable vinyl groups and hydrolyzable alkoxy groups. The hydrolyzed silanol can firmly bond with inorganic powders such as aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, silica powder, kaolin and glass fiber, while vinyl groups can crosslink and copolymerize with polyolefin, EPDM, unsaturated polyester and other polymers. It greatly improves wet electrical performance and mechanical strength of filled systems, optimizes filler dispersion and reduces melt viscosity, widely used in halogen-free flame retardant composites, cable materials and emulsion coatings.
