Phenyltrimethoxysilane
Phenyltrimethoxysilane is an aryl alkoxysilane, colorless transparent liquid. It contains phenyl group and hydrolyzable trimethoxy groups. The phenyl structure endows organic materials with excellent heat resistance, weather resistance and hydrophobicity. After hydrolysis, methoxy groups can bond with inorganic substrates. It is widely used in silicone resin synthesis, surface modification of inorganic powder and high-temperature resistant coating systems.
