N-cyclohexyl-γ-aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane

N-cyclohexyl-γ-aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane (KH-104, PC1620) is a dialkoxysilane coupling agent with cyclohexyl secondary amine structure, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It contains secondary amino groups and hydrolyzable dimethoxy groups. The cyclohexyl structure endows it with low yellowing property and better thermal stability than conventional amino silanes. The moderate hydrolysis rate of dimethoxy groups makes it ideal for preparing low-yellowing special amino silicone oil. It can also act as adhesion promoter for coatings, elastomers and composite materials to improve interfacial compatibility between inorganic fillers and organic resins.
