N-(2-Aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane

N-(2-Aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane

N-(2-Aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (KH-792) is a diamino trimethoxysilane coupling agent, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It contains primary and secondary active amino groups and trimethoxy functional groups. Trimethoxy groups have high hydrolysis activity and can rapidly form siloxane bonds with inorganic materials. The dual amino groups can react with many kinds of resins such as epoxy, polyurethane, phenolic and acrylic, greatly improving the compatibility, adhesion between fillers and resins as well as mechanical properties of finished products. It is widely used in coatings, sealants and glass fiber composite materials.
