3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane
3-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (KH-540, APTMS) is a general-purpose amino silane coupling agent, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. The primary amino group at one end can react with epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic and other resins. The trimethoxy group at the other end has relatively high hydrolysis activity and can form siloxane bonds with glass, metal and inorganic powder, greatly improving interfacial adhesion and water resistance of composites, coatings and adhesives.
