3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane

3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane (KH-550, APTES) is a widely used amino silane coupling agent, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It contains primary amino group and triethoxy functional groups. The amino group can react with organic resins such as epoxy, polyurethane and acrylic. Triethoxy groups have moderate hydrolysis rate and can form stable siloxane bonds with glass, metal and inorganic powder, effectively improving bonding strength and water resistance of composite materials, coatings and adhesives.
