3-Aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane

3-Aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane is a mono-amino organosilane coupling agent, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It contains primary amino group and dimethoxy functional groups. Amino groups can react with epoxy, isocyanate, carboxyl and other resins. After hydrolysis, dimethoxy groups can form chemical bonds with glass, metal and inorganic fillers. Compared with trimethoxy amino silane, it has milder hydrolysis rate and better crosslinking flexibility. It is commonly used for amino silicone oil synthesis and improving interfacial adhesion of coatings and adhesives.
