Diethylaminomethyltriethoxysilane

Diethylaminomethyltriethoxysilane is an α-type tertiary amino silane coupling agent, colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. The amino group is directly connected to the silicon atom via methylene, showing higher reactivity than conventional γ-type amino silanes. It has dual functions of catalysis and coupling, and its ethoxy groups can hydrolyze to form silanol groups, widely used in RTV silicone rubber, sealants and resin systems.
