Dodecyl triethoxysilane
Dodecyltriethoxysilane is a long-chain alkylsilane, colorless transparent liquid. It contains dodecyl group and three hydrolyzable ethoxy groups. Ethoxy groups hydrolyze into silanol under moisture and form stable chemical bonds with hydroxyl groups on inorganic substrates. The long carbon chain provides excellent hydrophobic, antifouling and release properties. It features mild hydrolysis rate and good storage stability, suitable for building material waterproofing and inorganic powder modification.
